Welcome to the SAAC
Thank you for visiting the Schertz Area Artz Council website!
We are a newly created organization dedicated to supporting the visual fine arts in the Schertz Area.
As our mission statement reads ” The mission of the Schertz Area Artz Council as a non-profit membership organization is to nurture, inspire, advocate and support emerging and established member artists, and to serve as a catalyst for the creation, appreciation and enjoyment of the visual arts in the Schertz area through exhibitions and educational programs designed to facilitate these objectives.”
Schertz Magazine and the SAAC recently hosted our first show, Artz ’09, highlighting area artists’ work. Artists from every medium exhibited works, and the evening came together perfectly. It was ethereal, and even magical.
